FAQ’s

What if I’m not sure what I believe?

That's completely okay. You don't need to have your beliefs sorted out before coming to church.

Many people come to Muse with questions about God, faith and life. Some are exploring Christianity for the first time, while others are revisiting beliefs they haven't thought about for years.

You're welcome to come as you are, ask questions, and take things at your own pace. No pressure, no expectations, and no requirement to have it all figured out.

Is it weird?

We promise we aren’t weird! Muse Church is full of ordinary people who are friendly, relaxed and genuinely welcoming. You don't need to know anything about church, the Bible or Christianity to feel comfortable. Nobody will put you on the spot, ask you to speak in front of people or expect you to have everything figured out.

Can I just come and observe?

Absolutely. Lots of people come to their first gathering simply to see what church is like. You're welcome to sit, listen, take it all in and participate as much or as little as you'd like. There is no pressure to do anything you're uncomfortable with.

Will I be singled out or asked to say anything?

Nope. We won't ask you introduce yourself in front of everyone or do anything awkward. We'd love to say hello during food and coffee time, but you can simply come along and blend in if that's more your style.

Do I have to give money?

Not at all. If you're visiting Muse, there is absolutely no expectation that you give money. Coffee and food are free, and you're welcome to simply come along and enjoy being part of the community.

Many people who call Muse home choose to give financially because they want to support the church and what it does in the community. Information about giving is available if you'd like it, but there is never any pressure or obligation

Are kids and families welcome?

Yes, absolutely! We love kids and have plenty of them running around. We have a dedicated kids program once a fortnight at our Worship Services, and always an activity available for them

What do I wear?

We are super casual and relaxed, so just wear what you would normally. Shorts, T-shirts…..be you & be comfortable.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just bring yourself. Words to the songs, bible verses and other info will be on a screen. We always have drinks and food which are free
